ABOUT US

 

The Republican Party of Sarasota County exists to uphold the principles of freedom, equality and justice on which the Republican Party and the government of this nation was founded, based on the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Florida.

The RPOSC is chartered by the Republican Party of Florida to support and elect qualified Republicans; grow Republican voter registration; create loyalty to the Republican Party; educate the general electorate on Republican ideals; and seek strong, qualified candidates to run for local, state and federal offices.

The RPOSC is led by the elected Chairman and the Executive team of Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, augmented by committees. It relies heavily on a large, experienced, enthusiastic base of volunteers and donors willing to support the efforts as a united team.

There are also 12 Republican clubs in Sarasota County. They are geographically spread throughout the county and allow conservatives to get together with like-minded people, provide informative and educational speakers and support the RPOSC in elections.
